BRANDING A MORE INCLUSIVE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE

Outdoor Industry Association brought their non-profit initiative Thrive Outside to Catalysis for a brand refresh. In their efforts to create more accessible outdoor experiences for kids across the US, they needed an approachable, fun, and localized way of communicating their services to the communities they partner with. With a new logo and brand system of regionally-inspired color palettes, bold patterning, and friendly typography, we helped clear a path towards this mission.



The brand toolkit focused on event signage and advertising concepts for both national and regional applications. By utilizing the unique color palette and pattern combinations, regional events can create a relevant identity while still connecting to the larger national brand.







Concepts for regional swag and welcome gear were also proposed.
